Overview
Acreonix Ltd ("Acreonix", "we", "us") respects your right to have your personal data deleted under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and other applicable privacy laws. This page explains, in plain language, how to request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, whether you are an Acreonix customer, a tenant or lead recorded inside a customer's account, or a person who has interacted with an Acreonix customer through our Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp integrations.
If Meta (Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp) has directed you to this page as part of the app-review or user-verification process, the request procedure below is the primary way to have your data removed from our systems.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, please send an email to the address below. This is the fastest and most reliable way to reach our data-protection team.
Please put "Data deletion request" in the subject line so it reaches the right team quickly.
Open a pre-filled email →To help us find and remove your data quickly, please include the following in your email:
- Your full name, as it would appear in our records.
- The email address and/or phone number the data is associated with (this is what we use to look you up).
- The name of the Acreonix customer (the property agency or landlord) who contacted you or holds your data, if you know it. If you don't, that's fine — we will search across our platform on your behalf.
- Which platform you were contacted on — Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, WhatsApp, or the Acreonix platform directly. This helps us clear data from the right integration.
- Any additional context that would help us identify the correct records (for example, the property you enquired about).
What we delete
Once we confirm your request, we will permanently delete the personal data we hold about you, including where applicable:
- Your name, email address, phone number and any other contact details.
- Message history and conversation content from Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct and WhatsApp collected through our integrations.
- Lead records, enquiry notes, viewing history and communication logs.
- Any documents you have uploaded (for example, ID copies or tenancy documents), unless retention is required by law (see Legal retention exceptions).
- Metadata associated with your account or interactions, such as IP addresses and device identifiers, held for security purposes.
Deletion is permanent. Once records have been removed from our production systems and backups have cycled, we cannot recover the data.
Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp data
Acreonix integrates with Meta's platforms (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Business) so that our customers — property agencies and landlords — can respond to enquiries you send through those channels. When you message an agency using Acreonix, we process the message content and your Meta profile information (such as your name and profile picture) strictly to deliver that conversation to the agency and to enable AI-assisted replies where the agency has enabled that feature.
You can have this data deleted in either of these ways:
- Email us directly at support@acreonix.co.uk using the procedure above. This is the recommended route for full deletion of historical data.
- Remove Acreonix's access from your Meta account by going to your Facebook, Instagram or Meta Business Settings, opening Apps and Websites (or Business Tools), finding "Acreonix" and removing it. Meta will automatically notify our Deauthorize Callback endpoint at
https://platform.acreonix.co.uk/api/meta/deauth, which triggers Acreonix to revoke the stored access token, mark the connector as deauthorized, and stop all further API calls to Meta on your behalf. This stops future data collection, but does not delete data already received — please still email us if you want existing data erased.
Meta reviewers and developers: Acreonix's automated Meta Data Deletion Request URL is this page (https://acreonix.co.uk/data-deletion.html). The automated Deauthorize Callback endpoint is https://platform.acreonix.co.uk/api/meta/deauth. Both are registered in the Acreonix App settings on developers.facebook.com.
Timeframe
We aim to acknowledge every deletion request within two working days and to complete deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity, in line with UK GDPR Article 12. In practice most requests are completed within a few working days. If your request is complex or requires more time, we will let you know in writing and explain why.
Legal retention exceptions
In a small number of situations, the law requires or permits us to keep certain data even after a deletion request. Where this applies, we will keep only what is strictly necessary and only for as long as required. Examples include:
- Financial records: UK tax law (HMRC) requires certain transaction and invoice records to be retained for up to six years.
- Anti-money-laundering (AML) records: where our customer has completed AML checks on you as a tenant or buyer, they are required by law to retain those records for a defined period.
- Legal claims: where data is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
- Fraud prevention: minimal records may be kept to prevent repeat account abuse.
Everything else will be deleted. If you want to know exactly what (if anything) is being retained after your request, just ask and we will tell you.
Deleting your own account directly
If you are a paying Acreonix customer with your own login, you can also delete your account and its associated data directly from the platform:
- Sign in at platform.acreonix.co.uk.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Scroll to the "Delete account" section and follow the on-screen prompts.
If the in-app option isn't available to you, or you'd prefer we handle it, email support@acreonix.co.uk and we'll process it for you.
